The Chairperson of Ethics Committee, Judge Sissy Khampepe, said protecting the integrity of SAFA is what has attracted her to take this position.

"The ethics committee comprised of two chambers: the investigatory chamber and the adjudicatory chamber. Its role is to ensure that the integrity and reputation of SAFA as an institution is safeguarded, and that is what attracted me to accept this position."

The officer of the integrity committee, Alex Abercrombie, said the duties of an integrity office would be there to protect the integrity of the game.

" We will look at things such as match manipulation. We are working with National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) on several issues. The point that I am trying to make here is that referees, players, and all sport syndicate should know that we're watching them." Alex said.
