Raphael Verane has officially joined Manchester United.
Manchester United has officially announced Raphael Verane, who signed a year deal on Tuesday evening.
Raphael Verane is a French international defender who was also playing for Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga. Manchester United agreed on a fee of £41m with Real Madrid.
Since joining Real Madrid in 2011, Varane has made over 300 appearances for the club and has won 18 titles, including 3 Laliga, 1 Copa del rey, 4 UEFA Champions League, and 4 FIFA Club World Cup titles. At the age of 24, Varane won the UEFA Champions League for the third time, making him the youngest defender ever to have won the trophy three times, beating Paolo Maldini, who was 26 when he won his third. In the international team, Verane has 79 caps.
Currently, on this transfer, Man United has also signed a five-year deal with Sancho to boost their squad for the 2021/2022 season. The English Premier League will open on 14 August 2021, with Man United taking up Leeds at their home ground, Old Trafford Stadium.
